The Melania foundation

The Melania Foundation helps a group of women in Western Uganda. This group is a "community self help group" in the mountainous region in Western Uganda. The group started in 2018 and currently has 32 women, all over the age of 18. The reason for starting a group was to reinforce each other and affirm that they have rights to property and income. They asked for a contribution to breed guinea pigs and grow cassava to help them make a living. We sponsored Melania for an amount of 1000 euro.
