Newsletter March 2014

Dear friends,
Here is the first news letter for 2014. I hope that this year has began well for you all and that it will continue so.

On Sunday 23rd February we organized a big FOODFAIR in the café 't Fortuin in Wervershoof. Between 13.00 and 17.00 you could sample delicious food and enjoy various local entertainment. It was great fun. There was also a big raffle.
The proceeds (€ 3000,-) will go to a project in Kenya in order to buy a tractor with a water tank so as to provide water for a school.

Our second big fund raising event is to cycle up, or walk up Mont Ventoux in the weekend of 19th until 23rd June 2014.We will tell you more about it later. If you would like a real challenge you are more than welcome to cycle or walk with us up Mount Ventoux.

It is more than 27 years ago that we began as Brasili-ja. During the years we have supported many small scale projects, thanks to your contributions. We are very grateful. We hope that we will be able to continue in this way for a long time.
