The Board:
With the exception of the secretary (Kees Ooijevaar) and treasurer (Piet Neefjes), there are no separate responsibilities within the board.
Sjaak de Boer, Peter de Boer, Piet Neefjes, Kees Ooijevaar, Hans van der Geest, Manon Koomen, Martijn Droog, Marco Dudink, and Marta Bakker-Sobolewska.
Website:
Our website is maintained by Digital Dreams in Enkhuizen.
In the past year, the board (secretary) sent few messages to the webmaster, so the website remained virtually unchanged throughout the year. The goal is to publish monthly.
2024:
- Community Auction
- Citadao Feliz
- World of Taste
- Fairground Promotion
- Melania Foundation
*Community Auction
Every year, a community auction is held in Wervershoof. Our offer was an escape room in the rectory of the Werenfridus Church. This is worth repeating, so we offered this bargain again during the 2025 Community Auction.
*Citadao Feliz
At the invitation of Pastor Sjaak de Boer, a representative of our foundation went to Rio de Janeiro with a group. There, a school for children with disabilities was visited and the sponsorship amount from the 2024 World of Taste Event was presented.
*World of taste
The World of Taste Event took place on April 8, 2025. The net proceeds went to the Manda Foundation. This foundation supports vocational education in Manda, Kenya. In January 2025, our fellow villager Kees Schouten passed away. He was closely involved with Manda, which is why this foundation was chosen. Approximately 350 people attended the afternoon. We'll be back in 2026 for our 40th anniversary celebration on October 18th.
*Fairground Campaign
During the Wervershoof fair, there was a celebration in the bumper cars (with the help of Chaplain Dino and ALOM), and a block of ice was placed in the rectory garden. Inside the block of ice was a saddle, and for a donation of 5 euros, people could guess when the saddle would touch the bottom of the pallet. The proceeds went to the Children's Bicycle Campaign Foundation.
*Melania Foundation
On October 27th, Carla Schutte, representing the Melania Foundation, spoke about their work. We have a lot in common. Melania is committed to gender equality and improving the economic position of (disadvantaged) women in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, so they can build an independent life.
Friends of Auxili-ja!
We're asking people to become "friends" of Auxili-ja! by donating €20, €40, or €50 annually via direct debit. Twelve people have signed up so far.
Planning 2026:

Notes to the 2024 Annual Accounts
*Income
Gifts
Gifts are the donations we have received from various people, including those who are "Friends of Auxili-ja!" and who annually donate an amount ranging from 20 to 50 euros to our foundation.
Activities
Our foundation organizes various activities annually (see annual report).
Garden Visit
During "Open Garden Days," many people visit various gardens in our region every year. The owners of one garden donate the proceeds from the days to our foundation.
Escape room
During the annual community auction, the foundation offered an escape room. It proved to be such a success that many people requested to participate in the escape room themselves, for a fee
*Expenses
Donations. The projects we supported.
Fundraising costs. Every event we organize incurs costs.
Miscellaneous. This includes secretariat expenses, meeting costs, and small gifts for "Friends of Auxili-ja!" members.
*Income and expenses for 2026
The foundation cannot disclose amounts here because we do not know how much the various events will cost or how many requests for donations we will receive. The events known to date for 2026 are listed in the annual report.
