Criteria for applications
1. A maximum of one application per applicant per year will be accepted.
The applicant will receive a response as soon as possible. If possible, the applicant will give a short presentation.
2. The project is in line with the first six global goals for sustainable development.
These global goals are:
*Elimination of all forms of extreme poverty
*End hunger, ensure food security and sustainable agriculture
*Health care for all
*Equal and high-quality education
*Equal rights for men and women and empowerment of women and girls
*Clean water and sanitation for all
3. Local embedding: in principle, your project is part of, or contributes to, a solution that fits within the local culture and structure for a situation that the target group actually experiences as a problem. Activities in the country of implementation must benefit the local community, not only during implementation but also afterwards.
4. Financial management: the proposal includes a budget.
Exclusions from funding
1. Support activities in the Netherlands are not supported. For example: we do not contribute to the costs you incur to organize a flea market or other fundraising activities.
2. With regard to projects for orphans, we prefer the care of orphans within the local community (for example family) over care in orphanages. Auxili-ja! therefore does not finance project applications for the support of orphanages
(see also: www.bettercarenetwork.org and www.savethechildren.nl)
3. Travel and accommodation costs
4. Transport costs from the Netherlands intended for a project in the country of implementation.
